What We Do / Welding & Fabrication

Welding & Fabrication

Expert welding,

built to last.

TIG, MIG and spot welding from our coded, in-house team. Carbon steel, stainless and aluminium taken from cut blank to finished fabricated assembly, delivered from our UK facility to projects across the world.

ICEE's bystronic Fibre Laser cutting machine.
We have a three dedicated welding buildings across our site.

Capabilities

Turn-key welding capabilities.

01 TIG, MIG & Spot Welding Three processes in daily use, matched to the material and the joint.
02 Coded Welders Coded to BS EN ISO standards across stainless, aluminium and carbon steel.
03 Fabricated Assemblies Complete welded structures, frames, enclosures and chassis — not just joined parts.
04 Fed From Our Own Floor Blanks arrive cut and folded from our Bystronic machines, so fit-up starts right.

Our fabrication work goes into telecommunications, transport, defence, construction and infrastructure – welded outdoors, under load, and left there for years. A weld you can’t trust is a structure you can’t sign off, so ours are checked, not assumed.

How we work

From fit-up to

finished fabrication.

Expert welding, properly checked. Dependable fabrications delivered from our UK facility.

01
Plan the fabrication Joint design, weld sequence and distortion control worked out before the first arc is struck.
02
Prepare and fit up Blanks cut and folded on our own Bystronic machines, jigged and fitted so joints close properly.
03
Weld TIG, MIG and spot across carbon steel, stainless and aluminium, matched to the material and the joint.
04
Inspect and move on Every fabrication checked against the drawing, then into powder coating and assembly — or dispatched as welded assemblies.

Frequently asked questions

What welding processes do you offer?

We offer TIG, MIG and spot welding in-house, all in daily use across our six dedicated welding bays. TIG for fine, high-quality work on stainless and aluminium; MIG for structural steel fabrication and throughput; spot welding for sheet metal assemblies.

Are your welders coded?

Yes. Our welders are coded to a range of BS EN ISO accreditations for welding stainless steel, aluminium and carbon steel, which allows us to work within high-requirement sectors such as defence and marine. Contact us for our exact codings.

What materials can you weld?

Carbon steel, stainless steel and aluminium, in sheet and plate. Because we cut and fold in-house on our Bystronic machines, we control material quality and fit-up from the very first stage of fabrication.

Can you weld stainless without contamination risk?

Yes – we have two dedicated buildings for clean areas, keeping stainless and aluminium work separated from carbon steel fabrication to prevent cross-contamination.

Can you fabricate complete assemblies, not just weld parts?

Yes – complete fabrications are most of what we do. Frames, enclosures, chassis and welded structures are built, inspected and, where needed, powder coated and mechanically assembled before dispatch.
